Product Overview
The Triconex 3625 belongs to the Triconex 3000 series of I/O modules. This supervised digital output module meets the needs of systems with outputs in a single state for extended periods. The Triconex 3625 receives output signals from the Main Processors on each of three channels. Each set of three signals is voted upon by a fully fault-tolerant quadruplicated output switch. The switch elements are power transistors for reliable operation. The Triconex 3625 has voltage and current loopback circuitry with sophisticated online diagnostics.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. What is the difference between supervised and non-supervised operation?
The Triconex 3625 supports both configurations. Supervised mode extends fault coverage to field problems like open loads or short circuits. Non-supervised mode operates without field fault detection.
2. Does the Triconex 3625 require external fuses?
No, the Triconex 3625 has a self-protecting design. You do not need external fuses on the field termination for module protection.
3. What is the continuous current rating per point on the Triconex 3625?
Each point on the Triconex 3625 can handle 1.7 A continuous. Surge current capacity is 7 A for up to 10 ms duration.
4. Does the Triconex 3625 support hot-spare configuration?
Yes, the Triconex 3625 fully supports hot-spare modules. This feature provides redundancy for critical output applications.
5. What indicators are available on the Triconex 3625?
The Triconex 3625 has PASS, FAULT, LOAD, and ACTIVE indicators. Each of the 32 points has dedicated On/Off and LOAD alarm indicators.
