Honeywell 10313/1/1 – 5V DC and Watchdog Distribution Module for FSC Systems
The Honeywell 10313/1/1 distributes 5 V DC and watchdog (WD) signals. This module operates within the FSC system architecture. It connects redundant I/O backplanes using ten RCN connectors. These RCN-1 to RCN-10 ports work with the 10315/1/1 backplane. The unit also connects non-redundant I/O backplanes via ten SCN connectors. These SCN-1 to SCN-10 ports work with the 10314/1/1 backplane. The Honeywell 10313/1/1 includes faston terminals for incoming 5 V DC power. Two distinct faston sets support redundant and non-redundant configurations.
Full Technical Specifications

Installation Guide
Mount the Honeywell 10313/1/1 on a TS32 or TS35 x 7.5 DIN rail first. Ensure the rail length measures at least 241 mm. Clip the module securely onto the rail. Connect the incoming 5V DC power to the correct faston terminals. Use FSC101 or FSC102 for non-redundant configurations. Use FSC101R CP-1 and CP-2 for redundant configurations. Attach up to ten I/O backplanes to the RCN or SCN connectors. Connect watchdog repeaters directly to their designated ports. Link additional 10313/1/1 modules for multi-cabinet systems. Verify all connections are tight before powering on the FSC system.

Common FAQs
Q1: What is the primary function of the Honeywell 10313/1/1?
A: It distributes 5 V DC power and watchdog signals. This module serves the Honeywell FSC fail-safe control system. It connects up to ten I/O backplanes.
Q2: Can I use this module with redundant I/O backplanes?
A: Yes, use the ten RCN connectors (RCN-1 to RCN-10). Connect these to 10315/1/1 redundant I/O backplanes. Use the FSC101R CP-1 and CP-2 fastons for power.
Q3: What is the maximum current on a faston pin?
A: The maximum current is 4 A per faston pin. I/O connector pins handle up to 2 A maximum. The module itself consumes no operating current.
Q4: Does the Honeywell 10313/1/1 work with non-redundant backplanes?
A: Yes, use the ten SCN connectors (SCN-1 to SCN-10). Connect these to 10314/1/1 non-redundant I/O backplanes. Use FSC101 or FSC102 fastons for power.
Q5: What is the difference with suffix code 20700 modules?
A: Modules with suffix code 20700 have a different connector layout. Always verify your system requirements before ordering. Check the specific connector arrangement for compatibility.
