First, inspect the mounting hole and probe threads for any damage. Second, screw the 330106-05-30-90-12-05 into the 8mm reverse mount hole by hand. Turn until the probe tip contacts the target shaft surface. Third, back the probe out by 1/4 to 1/2 turn to set the initial air gap. Fourth, tighten the lock nut to the specified torque.
