Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
### 1. Can I mix ND and NE modes on the same 3500/33 module?
Yes. The 3500/33-01-01 has four groups of four channels. You set each group independently for ND or NE operation.
2. What is the contact life of each relay?
Each relay lasts 10,000 cycles at rated load. For longer life, use the low current configuration with gold-plated relays.
3. Does the 3500/33-01-01 work in hazardous areas?
Yes. Option 01 provides cNRTLus approval for Class 1, Division 2 hazardous locations. Contact ratings limit to 30 Vdc in this configuration.
4. What happens if I short the recorder output?
The 3500/33-01-01 does not have a recorder output. That feature belongs to monitor modules like the 3500/53 or 3500/77M.
5. Can I use this module with 125 Vdc loads?
Yes for standard systems. The 3500/33-01-01 supports 125 Vdc as max switched voltage. Check your load is resistive.
